‘A good Rangers man’ – Fans react on Twitter to club announcement after shocking results

With the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern not yet convinced by their own manager, they certainly feel for Lee McCulloch.

Indeed, the former Ibrox favourite recently left the Scottish Premiership’s basement side after a nightmare start to the campaign for Kilmarnock.

A hugely popular figure amongst our local Light Blues, the 39-year-old didn’t win a game in charge of the club this season and, while his sacking is probably a fair reflection of their current situation, there is a huge amount of support for him in our bar.

The former Scotland international spent eight years with the Gers between 2007 and 2015, winning three SPFL titles amongst a raft of cup competitions, so certainly retains a level of love amongst the Ibrox faithful. So it’s certainly sad to see him go, despite his results.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how Rangers fans reacted on Twitter to Lee McCulloch leaving Kilmarnock.
