The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to put their Old Firm worries behind them ahead of Friday’s game with Hamilton Accies.
Indeed, our local Light Blues are yet to be convinced by Pedro Caixinha’s overhaul at Ibrox after a mixed start to the campaign. So, reports from the Scottish Sun have barely come as much of a surprise.
They claim the Portuguese has held clear-the-air-talks with his squad in an effort to get them to pull together. The 46-year-old is thought to have torn into his flops at Auchenhowie following Saturday’s home loss to Celtic, reportedly believing the squad lack togetherness.
Caixinha is said to have thought his summer signings have not gelled as well as he’d have liked thus far and a meeting is understood to have been called in an effort to rectify that. An ‘angry exchange’ is reported to have taken place, with the fact no Rangers players seemingly stood up to Scott Brown after his alleged elbow on Alfredo Morelos.
As you can imagine, our resident Gers just want these problems sorted out as soon as possible.
Unless these problems get sorted out as soon as possible, it’s hard to see Caixinha lasting.
