Rangers: Fans discuss Barry Ferguson

Rangers fans have been left to reminisce some of their greatest moments with the current pandemic stopping them from enjoying any fresh football.
The game across Europe and the globe is currently suspended, and given that the Scottish Premiership now have the authority to cancel the rest of the campaign should they see fit, it could be a while before the players take to the field once again.
Who has had the better career?
Scott Brown

Barry Ferguson

As such, the Gers supporters have been looking back at some of their past glories, including their 4-1 victory over PSV in 1999. It was a glorious peformance from the Glasgow side that night, but it was Barry Ferguson who caught the eye in particular.
A video of that display from the former Scotland international has been doing the rounds on Twitter, and it has led to the club’s supporters praising him. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, one even described him as the “best player Scotland have produced in years.”

What a player Fergie was at that age! One of the best midfielders in Europe at that stage.

Different class, there’s a reason the press were desperate for him to move.

Ferguson, 21 years old, absolutely bossing vs one of the best teams in europe at the time. Genuinely hilarious that people think theres a single scottish player even close his level the last 20 years. https://t.co/PTFMU4Xdxq

Folk comparing Scott Brown to Barry Ferguson need to have a word. Look at the way Ferguson opens up one of the best teams in Europe time and again. He was doing that most weeks domestically and in Europe
