‘Been brilliant’, ‘Only one winner’ – Rangers fans on Twitter show big support for emerging fan favourite

Having performed well since the departure of Pedro Caixinha, the Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are fairly happy. Though things aren’t ideal right now, the exit of the universally unpopular Portuguese has at least made things a bit better. 

So, the punters propping up our bar are actually ready to embrace the club’s Player of the Month poll for once, where they’d usually say no one deserves to pick up the gong in previously poor months. Indeed, with the Gers taking to Twitter to reveal voting is now open, a huge amount of support on social media has risen for one man in particular.

In reaction to the club’s post, supporters have been calling for Jason Holt to win the award. The midfielder has had to wait for his chances in the first-team, though came into the squad as a result of an injury crisis and hasn’t looked back since.

Notching a goal and registering an assist in three games, the 24-year-old is obviously a popular figure amongst supporters. With that in mind, here’s a look at the messages of support.
