Life is good amongst the Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern ahead of tomorrow’s crunch Old Firm clash. Indeed, it’s the biggest Glasgow derby in years as a win for the Gers would seriously change the course of the momentum in the title race and the punters propping up our bar have been delighted at their start to the weekend.
That’s because the club recently confirmed that Alfredo Morelos had signed a new deal at Ibrox to put an end to speculation over a potential move to China at some point, after a lucrative bid during the January transfer window. Having only joined this summer, the 21-year-old has proven a revelation in front of goal and the fact he’ll be around for the long-term has delighted our local Light Blues.
Naturally, supporters online have been sending the Colombian marksman a lorry load of positive messages, though many are also praising the club’s director of football, Mark Allen. While Allen did little to convince supporters he was the man for the job during their search for a replacement for Mark Warburton, the recent transfer and contract renewal business has delighted Rangers fans.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the praise poured upon him on Twitter.
Credit to Mark Allen and Dave King, great to see will be a great player for us or worst case drives up the transfer fee if and when he goes #ElBufalo

The signing of Mark Allen looks like the best business we have done in a decade. As the share issue approaches the club are stretching up and up on the field and as a business
