With the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern trying to forget Celtic’s title win, they’ve been discussing what needs to be done ahead of next season to try and bridge the gap.
So, quotes sourced by the Scottish Sun from crocked midfielder Niko Kranjcar have gone some way into cheering up some of the Gers frequenting the bar in their droves.
The Croatian playmaker has been ruled out of action since October with a serious knee injury and had previously been expected to miss the entirety of the remaining campaign.
While the former Tottenham and Portsmouth man had initially looked like another big name flop, the punters propping up the bar had started to get impressed by his form just before his ailment.
So, comments made in his homeland and quoted in the Sun have put a smile back on the faces of the punters in the bar, who hope he can try and find some momentum to take into next year.
”My health is good”, he said.
”I have another month to go and then I will get the go-ahead to get back playing.
“Without any doubt, this is the most serious injury that I had in his career.
“But I am hoping to be back playing in a month.”
