Rangers enjoyed an impressive run prior to the international break, with their title and European hopes still very much alive under Steven Gerrard.
The Bluenoses will be desperate to pick up where they left off prior to the international break, having secured two victories in their last two games in all competitions.
However, Rangers will travel to New Douglas Park to face Hamilton Academical in their next Scottish Premiership encounter.
Indeed, this will be a key game for a couple of the club’s first team members, with a disappointing showing possibly causing for them to lose their place in the side.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO players that could face axing if they don’t put in a huge performance…
Jon Flanagan hasn’t been at his best since making the move to Rangers, with a sloppy performance and a rash decision never too far away having been given his marching orders already this season.
The Bluenoses can’t afford any more slip-ups in the race for the Scottish Premiership title, so the pressure is firmly on the defender to deliver later on today as a poor performance could see him axed and replaced immediately.
Daniel Candeias has enjoyed a number of games in the side recently but he hasn’t quite been able to make enough contributions, with just one goal and three assists to his name in 15 appearances.
Indeed, with Kyle Lafferty out of the squad for today’s match against Hamilton Academical, this is arguably his last chance to put in a huge performance. Otherwise the Northern Irishman could be in line to take his place in the Bluenoses next match and for the foreseeable future.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
