Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking forward to what Steven Gerrard’s next moves as the boss will be, however, they will be upset with the departure of one key player.
The Gers manager has been busy in the transfer window, having made a number of additions already, despite not having taken the hot-seat at Ibrox, although it appears he did not want to make one of the loanees a permanent addition.
Sean Goss has returned to Queens Park Rangers following a six-month spell in Glasgow, having arrived in January. The midfielder, who was also once on the books at Manchester United, made 15 appearances for the Light Blues and scored twice and helped guide the club to a place in the Europa League next season.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram to thank the club for his time and wished everyone the best for the future.
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be upset to lose the midfielder following a successful loan spell with the club and will have open arms for him to return in the future, should things not work out for him.
Goss is expected to fight for his place in Steve McClaren’s QPR first-team and the locals will be wishing him all the best.
