DaMarcus Beasley takes to Twitter and Rangers fans are absolutely loving it

Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to former Ger, DaMarcus Beasley, as he took to Twitter to reminisce about Maurice Edu’s goal in the final minutes of Rangers’ 1-0 win over Old Firm rivals, Celtic, back in 2010.

The Edu goal in the third minute of stoppage time put Rangers 10 points clear of their Glaswegian rivals with 12 league games left to play in the Scottish Premier League. Edu and Beasley were well liked in Glasgow, as they both chipped in with two goals throughout the Bluenoses’ title-winning 2009/10 season. Now 35, Beasley currently plays in his home country for Houston Dynamos in the USA’s MLS.

The marauding left-back made over 40 appearances for Rangers in his three-year spell with the club before moving on to sign for Hannover 96 on a free transfer. Beasley remains a popular figure at Ibrox as he was a part of an incredibly successful side, winning six domestic honours in his three years was a Ger.
