Duo could be with Rangers next season following manager comments despite overhaul

The overhaul constructed by Pedro Caixinha this summer has certainly had the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern talking both often and loudly.

While pre-season hasn’t been overly impressive for our local Light Blues, they’ve at least been happy to see many of Mark Warburton’s flops moved on after a pretty dreadful campaign last time out.

Still, as happy as they are about that, it seems the Gers could have a problem on their hands when it comes to cutting more of the more fat from their squad at Ibrox. Indeed, outcast pair Harry Forrester and Josh Windass could remain in Glasgow, despite apparent interest in their services, according to the Daily Record.

Southend United boss Phil Brown recently revealed the Shrimpers’ interest in Forrester had cooled, with Rotherham chief Paul Warne denying interest in Windass.

Considering the wealth of options available to Caixinha in Glasgow, the idea of paying both players a wage to do nothing has annoyed our resident Gers, who are praying the club find suitors between now and the end of the summer.

Heading into what is hopefully a new era, they want Warbs’ flops out of the club.
