Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern could be preparing to say goodbye, once again, to one of their main attacking stars with the latest fallout with the club set to continue.
The Ibrox outfit are going through a rocky situation at the moment following the devastating defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final last weekend. The 4-0 result has ended up with tempers flying across and plenty of players having their say.
Alfredo Morelos and Greg Docherty were involved in an argument at the final whistle, whilst Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have been suspended after they made comments towards Graeme Murty in the dressing room.
It would appear 38-year-old striker Miller has kicked his last ball for the Gers as he is out of contract in the summer – however, he is wanted by Hibernian, as per a recent report from The Daily Mail.
The media outlet are claiming manager Neil Lennon is prepared to team up with his former teammate, having played together at Celtic in the past.
Miller has told of his desire to continue playing football next season and could be set to join the club he left 18 years ago to join Rangers for the first time, whilst it is believed the Easter Road side will use the public dispute to their advantage in pursuit of the £315,000-rated star (as per Transfermarkt).
Landlord’s Verdict: The Rangers locals in the Tavern will be disappointed that their club continues to have problems following them around, and will be demanding the club sort their situation out as quickly as possible.
A number of punters will realise how important Miller has been to them, although some may be prepared to let him leave Ibrox once again, after his second dispute with management which included Pedro Caixinha.
