Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can challenge for the title next season, after failing to produce consistent performances towards the end of the current campaign.
The Bluenoses will be pleased with how their season panned out as they now have European football to look forward to, but there will be plenty of changes made behind the scenes in the summer as the club goes on in search of even more success. Although, it’s the club’s current managerial position that has been causing a stir recently, as Graeme Murty’s future continues to be surrounded with doubt.
Surprisingly, it appears that former Ajax coach Marcel Keizer wants the Rangers job if Murty departs in the summer, after being sacked by the Amsterdam giants back in December. But, appointing the 49-year-old may not be the smartest of decisions for Rangers to make, as he doesn’t really have any standout statistics in his managerial career thus far.
