The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely loving comments made by young defender, Ross McCrorie. McCrorie claimed that he doesn’t mind where he plays, as long as he is out on the pitch playing for Rangers then he’s happy. The Scot made the comments whilst in an interview for the Rangers website as he returns from a foot problem that’s had him sidelined for three months.
& raring to go @RossMcCrorie4
“I think my versatility gives me a better chance of being in the starting XI. I’m not really bothered where I play because as long as I am playing for Rangers I am happy.”

The Rangers fans propping our bar up are in no doubt that McCrorie has a bright future, be it at Ibrox or not. The youngster has proven this season what playing for Rangers means to him and his passion and desire on the pitch is on show with every appearance he makes. The 20-year-old has made 16 appearances in the Scottish Premier League for the Gers this season and scored his first Rangers goal at senior level in a 3-0 win against Partick Thistle back in November.
McCrorie’s mature performances and ability to switch between playing centre-back and defensive midfield have made him one of Rangers most valuable players this season. The defender has a final chance to impress in the league against Dundee at Ibrox tomorrow before next weekend’s huge Scottish Cup semi-final fixture against Glasgow rivals, Celtic at Hampden Park. Rangers fans will be looking go out on a high this season and take revenge against Celtic to deny them back-to-back trebles for the first time in their history.

With Goss and Docherty in midfield I’d see your best position as CB beside Martin. You have the vision to be a quality ball-playing defender so keep up the good work.

Be bothered @RossMcCrorie4 establish yourself in one position and you will never be out of the team.
There’s a serious shortage of centre half’s in this country Follow Follow young man

He looks and speaks like a leader and that is something we're missing. He should have been in the team years ago. Yes he would have been young but he's better than most of the dross that has played at CB or DM in the past 3 yrs.
