Gerrard should sign Origi and MacLeod in January - Rangers

Rangers currently find themselves in a promising position to kick on and secure the Scottish Premiership title, with Kilmarnock and Celtic also in the race.

Steven Gerrard has worked wonders since taking over at Rangers back in the summer months, with a piece of silverware in the current campaign being just reward for the Liverpool legend.

Of course, with the January transfer window looming, the Glasgow club will be hoping that Dave King can draft in a couple of players to help take their title push one step further.┬áThe Bluenoses suffered defeat at the hands of Aberdeen recently, so it’s clear to see that quality additions are required.

With that in mind, Gerrard can make Rangers’ title dream a reality if King signs this DUO

Divock Origi has stagnated behind the scenes at Liverpool for pretty much the whole of the current campaign, but he made all the headlines recently after grabbing a late winner in the Merseyside derby.

The forward could still be set for a January transfer window exit as the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino are currently ahead of him in the pecking order, so Gerrard should look to use his close ties to Liverpool to secure his services at some point in the near future.

Rangers have relied heavily on Alfredo Morelos to deliver this season, so back-up will be needed in January.

Lewis MacLeod has established himself as one of the standout performers in the English Championship this season. He currently has three goals and two assists to his name from the middle of midfield, but he does like to venture forward to try and get on the end of crosses.

The likes of Lassana Coulibaly, Ovie Ejaria and Ryan Jack have struggled to contribute goals in the final third this season, so bringing MacLeod to Ibrox would offer them a different dynamic moving forward.
