Rangers: Fans discuss interest in Curtis Jones

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s previous connections from a long and successful career in the game are already clear for all to see in Scotland.
The Gers boss has taken several players on loan or permanently from former club Liverpool – the likes of Sheyi Ojo, Ryan Kent and Jon Flanagan are just some of those who have played for both the Anfield outfit and the 54-time Scottish champions.
Now, it seems that the former Reds captain is after another player from his former side. According to The Daily Star, Rangers are eyeing a move for youngster Curtis Jones, the 19-year-old who has scored twice for Liverpool so far this campaign.

Would be a cracking signing. Doesn’t bode well for hagi though??

Haven’t seen a lot of him, but he seems highly regarded. Can’t be any worse than Ojo

very surprised if he doesn’t follow a similar path to the loan one of Harry Wilson

Heard it too many times before Derek (not from you). The young loan players from English sides almost never work regardless of their potential. This isn’t a league for development if you are looking to be a top player in the EPL.

Said the same about Kent…. He forgets to run towards the goal with the ball after 3 step overs beating 4 players he’s ended up on the right wing instead aof left and further away from goal 🙈 no point in having an academy if we don’t give them a chance first.

Have watched him several times over last couple of seasons & agree 100% the boy is quality. Would take him on loan in a flash if the option was available !
