Glasgow Rangers are likely to feel they have plenty of enemies in Scottish football right now.
The SPFL, for example, are probably not best pleased with the Gers for the way they have attacked their integrity – the Ibrox outfit accused the governing body of corruption, produced a 200-page dossier in an attempt to prove as much, and even pushed for an independent investigation into the authority which ultimately failed.
There are also several clubs with whom they will likely not see eye-to-eye. One of those will be Hamilton Academical, who were pretty adamant that the season could not be completed on the pitch – something which the Gers did obviously not agree with.
Would you want to see Hamilton Academical go out of business?
Now, it appears that the Accies have encountered financial problems. Twitter account and respected financial analyst PriceOfFootball has released a whole series of claims, one of which was that the club made a loss of £274,000 during the 2018/19 season.
Given the way they conducted themselves during the process to end the campaign, it seems that the Gers fans are delighted to hear about their struggles. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Happy to hear this.
