Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Ian Murray’s comments about the SPFL

Glasgow Rangers have been at the heart of the recent saga that has rocked Scottish football.
The ‘Gers were one of the clubs who were most desperate to see the campaign completed on the pitch before it was decided that it should be ended prematurely. That decision was reached following a vote from the clubs in Scotland’s top four leagues, with Dundee’s decision first not registered and then changed when it was countered.
The ‘Gers then went on to accuse the SPFL of corruption and even asked for an independent investigation into the governing body, which was eventually rejected once again by the majority of the country’s league clubs.
Should Rangers continue their fight for an investigation?
Yes

No

MP Ian Murray is certainly angry with the authority for the way they have handled things recently and he has accused those in charge of killing the game. This has unsurprisingly attracted the attention of many ‘Gers supporters and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts – one fan even called it a “damning verdict”. Scottish football died the minute they finished the season and hand picked the winners and losers 🤔

An MP observing the @spfl comes to the only conclusion anybody can come at. Those running football in Scotland are killing the game
What a damning verdict on those responsible for Scottish football https://t.co/SHPpHmDfUu

The chance for an independent investigation was there yet too many buoyed by lawell s “passionate speech” chose to bury their heads and continue dancing to celtics tune

Point that finger and don’t be shy. One man responsible. Liewell. His puppets did what he wanted. The result is chaos. Doncaster must go for incompetence. The other puppets must go because they are connected to septic. A better board needed.

“Killing the game” they already murdered it a few weeks ago, with Votegate. Doncaster poisoned the game and Celtic took the title from its dead hands.
