At Glasgow Rangers, just like many other clubs, matches and trophies are not only won by the 11 players who take the field.
So many people make up a football team nowadays. Of course, you have the players, but there is also the management staff, the doctors, the physios, and even the kitman. Without a whole group of people who work together, it is impossible to strive for success.
At Ibrox, the kitman holds a special place within the fabric of the club. Jimmy Bell was put in charge of the kit when Graeme Souness was the manager back in the 1980s, and he has been in the same role ever since. Quite frankly, he is a massive part of the furniture at the club, and it would unlikely be the same without him.
Is Jimmy Bell a Rangers legend?
On Tuesday, the club’s official Twitter account shared a photo of him in 1990, and it is has led to plenty of reaction from the club’s supporters – one even called him a “hero”. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.
Looks like Maradonna 😂
