Glasgow Rangers are clearly adamant that there has been some wrongdoing from the SPFL, and they appear to be hell-bent on proving it.
The Ibrox outfit have accused Scottish football’s governing body of corruption following their handling of the resolution proposal that saw Dundee’s original vote first not being registered, and then changed the next week. The Gers have since produced a 200-page dossier which is said to prove that there has been foul-play, although the SPFL themselves have said that there is no such evidence in the document.
There has been an argument that an independent investigation would cost too much money, but Gers chairman Douglas Park appears to have quashed that with his latest comments. He has said that the 54-time Scottish champions themselves are willing to pay for it, which would mean that others would not need put their hands into their pockets.
Do you back this move from Douglas Park?
This has been met by resounding approval from the club’s supporters – one fan even called it a “game-changer”. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
