Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage at club refund decision - Rangers

The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc for Glasgow Rangers and other clubs in Scottish football.

The season was brought to a premature end for the first time since World War II as it was no longer deemed safe to play. That then led to a bitter war of words between the ‘Gers and the SPFL, with the Ibrox outfit accusing the governing body of corruption and even demanding an investigation into the authority, which was eventually rejected.

While the 2020/21 SPFL season is set to start in August, fans will not be allowed into stadia, so those who have bought a season ticket will not be able to make use of it. Fortunately, the Ibrox club has offered a refund system but, in order to avail of it, fans must print out a form and send it in instead of being able to do it over the Internet.

Will Rangers win the league this season?

It seems that many ‘Gers fans are far from happy with this news and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one supporter accusing the club of “taking the Martin Bain approach”. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:
