The pandemic that we are currently living through has led to Rangers and their fans remembering some of the fantastic players that have pulled on their shirt down the years.
There have been videos shared of the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Graeme Souness, and now a clip of Mark Walters has emerged, thanks to Twitter page This is Ibrox. The midfielder spent four years at the club after signing for £500,000 in 1987.
All in all, he would make over 130 appearances for the Ibrox outfit, scoring more than 30 goals during his time there. The clip in question was of a strike of his against Aberdeen, when he caused the Dons all sorts of problems.
Is Mark Walters a Rangers legend?
The fans have been discussing just how good a player he was for them, and it is fair to say he is rather popular with one describing him as a “great talent.”
They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.
What a player! A great talent. I can remember seeing him at masters football and he was head and shoulders above everyone else his age. Still had bags of ability too. Best player in the tournament by a mile! https://t.co/5gV4GVFe3U

One of my all time favourites. A real quality football player. Loved watching him play for us.

One of my favourites growing up. That cross for Hateleys first against the sheep in 1991 will live long in the memory
