Glasgow Rangers: Fans hammer Nacho Novo’s comments

The decision from the Emergency General Meeting is unlikely to have gone down too well with Glasgow Rangers.
The Gers, of course, were beaten in their attempts to force through an investigation into the SPFL, who they have accused of corruption. In the end, they managed to convince only 12 other teams to side with them.
Former Gers player Nacho Novo is clearly one of those who has not taken the news too well, with him finding himself embroiled in an argument on Twitter on Tuesday. At one point, he made a comment about Phil O’Donnell, who unfortunately passed away in 2007, in what looked like an attempt to score points.
Can you defend Nacho Novo?
Yes

No

Whilst he was trying to stand up for his former side, even the Gers fans could not condone the Spaniard’s actions. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the comments from the social media platform below.
Him trying his hardest to be loved by rangers supporters is cringy and last night was one the biggest embarassments to our club ive witnessed in my lifetime from a player/ex player.

There was absolutely no need for it though, Nacho is my all time favourite, but I can’t defend what he said tonight
It was out of order definitely

As much as I love Nacho Novo, he doesn’t do himself much favours
