As per SCORENigeria, Glasgow Rangers are interested in KV Kortrijk’s Terem Moffi.
The report states that the Gers have actually made an enquiry for the 21-year-old.
They are not the only team to be interested in the Nigerian though, with Lorient, St. Etienne, Anderlecht, Galatasaray and Stade Reims all said to be keeping an eye on the youngster.
As of yet, £1.17m-valued Moffi – as per Transfermarkt – is relatively unexperienced. His journey in the game so far has since him appear predominantly in the Lithuanian top flight with FK Kauno Zalgiris and FK Riteriai before making the switch to Belgium in January.
However, so far, he has passed every test thrown at him. For Riteriai, he managed 20 goals in 31 matches before Kortrijk parted with £135,000 for his services, and he managed to strike four times in his first nine matches with his new club. This means that overall he has 24 goals in his last 40 combined appearances – impressive stuff.
Would you like to sign Moffi?
Now, it is stated that he is worth €1.3m (£1.2m) to his current employers, and this report even says that they will only let him go for a “crazy” fee. Still, one can’t imagine that potential sum being ridiculously high, which could play into Ross Wilson’s hands. Much like Morelos, for whom they paid £1.08m, Moffi could prove to be an absolute bargain if they are able to take him to Scotland.
