Glasgow Rangers target Rayhaan Tulloch has been offered a new contract by current club West Bromwich Albion.
The Gers have previously been linked to the 19-year-old, who currently plays for the West Midlands outfit.
As it stands, he would be free to leave on a free transfer, with the Ibrox outfit only needing to pay compensation, but now he has been offered a new deal by the Baggies. It remains to be seen whether he signs it.
Tulloch may have only made five first-team appearances for the Hawthorns outfit, but his performances at youth level indicate he has a big future ahead of him. This term alone, he has managed nine goals in 14 Premier League 2 matches, as well as four assists, whilst 38 games for the club’s U18s brought 23 strikes.
Would you like to sign Tulloch?
Clearly, he is a very talented youngster, which would make him a no-risk signing for the Gers if they could snap him up on a free transfer. If he signs a new contract at his club, then it all but ends the Ibrox club’s interest in the prodigy.
Now, Ross Wilson and Steven Gerrard will need to play the waiting game and see whether the youngster signs the deal or whether he chooses to continue his development elsewhere – perhaps north of the border.
