With the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern wholly expectant of a win against St Johnstone tonight, there’s a good collective mood amongst them.
Indeed, our local Light Blues are feeling confident about a win over in Perth and the cheery feelings amongst them have only been added to following some positive injury news.
According to the Daily Record, both Bruno Alves and Niko Kranjcar are fit and available for selection for the trip to Perthshire this evening after overcoming injury problems.
The presence of two experienced international players as they prepare for a tricky visit to McDiarmid Park this evening is a major boost to Pedro Caixinha, who needs a big performance from his side in order to help keep the pressure off his shoulders.
As you can imagine this news has gone down really rather well amongst the Rangers fans in our bar as they look to close the gap on the likes of Aberdeen and Celtic.
The sight of the pair lining up alone should give the rest of Rangers’ players a boost, such is their level of experience. Hopefully for them, that nous can translate into what would be a big win over Tommy Wright’s side.
