Rangers have had some fantastic players, but few have had an impact quite like Ian Durrant.
The 20-time Scotland international spent 13 years with the Gers from 1985 to 1998, and was a regular throughout that time in the middle of the park. During that period, the Ibrox outfit won the Scottish League title on no less than six occasions, as well as three Scottish Cups and three League Cups.
With so much time on their hands due to the current pandemic, and therefore no football, the fans have been taking the time to remember Durrant thanks to the club’s official Twitter account. Firstly, they posted an image of him during his testimonial, and they followed that up with a video of a goal of his against Hibernian.
Is Ian Durrant a Rangers legend?
This led to the fans waxing lyrical about him – one fan even called him “dynamite.”
They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from below.
Rangers legend would have been an absolute superstar if it hadn’t been for that injury he was different class at making those runs , you can’t teach that.
