Ibrox chiefs leave Rangers man sweating on future

It’s been a thoroughly miserable few weeks for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern, who cannot quite believe just how far the Gers currently lie behind bitter rivals Celtic, who lead the Scottish Premiership by a stunning 27 points.

Despite reasonably big investment in the Ibrox ranks over the course of the summer, the punters in the bar are yet to be convinced by Mark Warburton in the dugout and many of them believe the club is a state right now. So, reports from the Daily Record have caused even further concern amongst our locals.

They’ve revealed crucial forward Kenny Miller has been left in limbo in regards to his future after top brass refused to reveal as to whether or not they are to offer him a new deal. One of the best performers this season, the 39-year-old is out of contract at the end of the campaign and is understood to want to extend that.

However, despite reportedly asking for face-to-face meetings with those behind the scenes at Ibrox, the former Scotland man is believed to have little idea as to whether or not he will get one. Considering the nature of his performances this term, our local Rangers fans quite simply can’t believe he’s not been signed up yet.

Will Miller be with Rangers next season? Let us know below…
