While the Pedro Caixinha era started so well following an emphatic 4-0 win over Hamilton Academical, the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are in low spirits of late.
Since that opening day at Ibrox, the Portuguese has struggled to get his Gers project off the ground and the recent 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock bored our punters to tears.
Clearly, the rebuild needed in Glasgow is far bigger than initially thought, though some of the more optimistic punters propping up the bar have found reasons to smile.
As a result of the injury crisis currently plaguing the Gers, Caixinha was forced into blooding some of the youngsters at the club at Rugby Park. One of those was young defender David Bates, who formed part of a makeshift defence that managed to keep Killie out.

Having signed for the club from Raith Rovers in January, he made his competitive first-team debut and took to Twitter to express his delight, though admitted disappointment at the performance.
