With Mark Warburton doing very well to turn around what appeared to be a sinking ship, the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been in good moods recently.
The Gers now look like certs to finish in second spot, a decent achievement considering the fact they were only promoted in the summer and Aberdeen have looked strong.
There’s little doubt it’s been a huge summer of change at Ibrox and not all of Warbs’ signings have been overly impressive.
There was a of course the predictably ugly end to the Joey Barton story, while the likes of Philippe Senderos have failed to perform.
So, imagine the surprise upon the faces of our drinkers following reports from the Daily Record.
They claim veteran defender Clint Hill could be offered a quick-fire route out of Scotland and BACK to former club Queens Park Rangers.
The 38-year-old only left Loftus Road in the summer and joined the SPFL side on a one-year deal.
However, the Rs are reportedly eager to bring him back to west London and are free to open talks over a pre-contract agreement in the coming weeks.
Warburton is understood to be aiming to open talks with his veteran, who has been in good form this term, to get him to stay north of the border for at least another season.
Would Clint Hill be a big loss for Rangers? Let us know below..
