It’s not exactly been a rip-roaring campaign for the Rangers fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, with the Gers falling so far behind bitter rivals Celtic in the title race.
While many of our locals do accept Mark Warburton’s task was always likely to be extremely difficult – considering the financial gap – the Bhoys leading by a whopping 27 points just isn’t good enough. Part of their grievance has largely been the lack of impact many of the signings have made at Ibrox, seeing the likes of Joey Barton spectacularly fail.
Which is why reports from the Scottish Sun haven’t gone down too badly of late. They’ve revealed Rangers talent-spotter Frank McParland is ready to QUIT the Scottish side amid fears over their reasonably limited budget. Interest from England is also understood to have impacted his reported decision to quit, though our punters aren’t exactly gutted about it.
With that in mind, here’s how Rangers fans reacted to McParland’s future being cast into doubt.
If mcparland is going to quit then I think MW will be following him

McParland is a way of the board pushing Warburton out. We signed 12 players for less than £3 million. Board need to get real. Fast. #RFC

@ScottishSun mcparland has been a failure signings terrible or injured all the time
