With the managerial situation finally sorted out at Ibrox, the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing just what impact they believe new man Pedro Caixinha will have in Glasgow.
While little is known about the Portuguese, many in the bar are excited about this new era for the Gers as they chase Celtic atop the SPFL and are hopeful he can spark a successfull long-term rebuild for the club. So, with that in mind, reports from the Scottish Sun have proved somewhat intruiging.
They claim chairman Dave King will jet into Scotland to meet his new manager face-to-face for the first time and the two are reportedly likely to discuss transfer targets for next season, after the 46-year-old’s first game againt Hamilton Academical.
There is thought to be money made available by those up the marble staircase for the summer window and King is understood to be ready to jet in from South Africa as Rangers try and build for a successful first year under their new man. While not always the most popular figure amongst our punters, the fans in the bar are happy King is ready to lend a helping hand to the club on this front.
