Latest Rangers target sure to excite fans, proven track record of success

It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern, who are desperate to see their side compete for the Scottish Premiership next season.

The Light Blues have already made moves in the market in their attempts to close the gap on bitter rivals Celtic and reports from the Daily Record today have only had our resident Gers in more excitement.

According to their report, the Glasgow giants are keen on luring Norwich City Director of Football Joe Savage to Ibrox, as they ramp up their player recruitment behind the scenes.

Savage has impressed since leaving his role as a games analyst with Hamilton when Alex Neil took over at Carrow Road, helping the Canaries uncover gems such as Timm Klose and Nelson Oliveria.

With Rangers understood to want Pedro Caixinha to work under a DoF, the Scotsman is believed to have emerged as a top candidate.

While the role in question has caused debate amongst fans at various clubs over the years, our resident Rangers supporters believe his track record speaks for itself and would certainly be open to his arrival.
