Lee Wallace was with Rangers during one of, if not the worst spell in their history.
The 32-year-old signed for the Ibrox outfit in 2011 for £1.5m from Hearts, but soon after the Gers would go into administration and would need to restart in the fourth tier of Scottish football. However, Wallace stayed at the club and went on to make more than 200 appearances, scoring 21 times in the league in the process.
Should Lee Wallace still be at Rangers?
His time in Glasgow came to an end last year, with him moving to QPR in the Championship. It is fair to say he still has a place in the hearts of many of the Rangers supporters, as we can see by a post shared by Twitter page This is Ibrox on Wednesday.
They tweeted a clip of him scoring against Celtic, and it has got the Gers fans reacting. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below. One even described him as a “legend.”
Should still be at ibrox and the captain. 💙🏴 https://t.co/oNjuC8EBwq

As you say, never to be forgotten. Would have been fitting for him to have led Rangers to a Prem title. Sadly not to be https://t.co/3wNwRFZOcZ

Personally, I think the club should apologise to him. It should never be forgotten that when our club was in mire Lee Wallace & Lee McCulloch stepped up. These players should be treated as legends. Just my opinion. https://t.co/FZi670jqjM

Without knowing all of the facts about him n Miller I still think it’s poor the way Wallace was treated,he should never have been sold.
