After such a big summer of change, the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing the nature of life under Mark Warburton.
While this campaign has had its ups and downs, the Gers are looking strong in second place and recently beat rivals Aberdeen and Hearts to consolidate their position there.
Despite the fact Warburton brought a number of new players to the club over the summer, the punters propping up the bar believe their star performer this term has been Kenny Miller.
The former Scotland international is almost 37, though looks as fit as a fiddle and leads the Gers’ line very well indeed.
So, imagine how the nerves are setting in amongst our drinkers following reports from the Glasgow Evening Times.
Out of contract at the end of the season, the ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers forward has revealed talks are yet to start in regards to extending his stay at the club.
“No not yet. That is something we will cross when it comes to it”, he said.
”I’d love to sign on again but these kind of things are out of my hand.
“However, I’ve got no plans on slowing down. I feel pretty good at the moment.
“Is 40 a realistic target? Well it’s only three years away now so it’s definitely on the horizon.”
Can you see Miller at Rangers when he’s 40? Let us know below..
