Rangers will want to invest during the January transfer window, as they continue to close the gap on rivals Celtic at the top of the Premiership.
Although they recently faced disappointment after being knocked out of the Europa League, Rangers still have a very good chance at contesting the league title this season.
It will take hard work on behalf of Steven Gerrard and the rest of the players but it is certainly an achievable goal.
Rangers will be eyeing improvements during the January transfer window, with an attacking midfielder a sensible addition to make.
Huddersfield’s Abdelhamid Sabiri would be a great signing to make, seeing as he can play in an array of positions whilst only being 22-years-old still.
Sabiri, (who is valued at £1.3 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that has the talent but has yet been unable to showcase that for Huddersfield.
With just 48 minutes of Premier League football to his name this season, Sabiri could be far better suited by moving away from England and giving his all to Rangers instead.
In his debut season for the Terriers last season, Sabiri started just five games and failed to make an impact in the little time he was given on the pitch.
A year earlier in the 2016/17 season, albeit in the lower divisions of German football, Abdelhamid Sabiri bagged 17 goals in 30 appearances, hence why Huddersfield did what they could to sign him.
He has proven his potential in the lower leagues and with a move to Rangers, he could re-establish the form that made him such a worthwhile signing in the first place.
