‘Mark Allen should be sacked’ – Rangers fans fume at reported managerial developments

With two wins in a row since the exit of Pedro Caixinha, it was all going so well for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern of late.

Indeed, without the Portuguese, life had been going swimmingly at Ibrox under the caretaker stewardship of Graeme Murty. While the U20s coach may not be a long-term option, he’s done well enough to steady the ship while the powers that be at Ibrox think long and hard about a new boss.

Still, director of football Mark Allen is thought to be a fan of the 56-year-old’s, something that certainly has sparked a reaction on social media.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how Rangers fans slated the Allen-McClaren thinking on Twitter.
