According to the Scottish Sun, both the Gers and rivals Hibernian could battle for Motherwell striker Louis Moult when the New Year rolls around.
However, having snubbed a new deal at Fir Park, the 25-year-old is free to talk to other clubs about a move at the end of his contract, with Hibs and Rangers thought to be among interested parties north and south of the border.
He notched 18 times last season, not a record to be sniffed at, though our resident Gers are wary of too many personnel changes at once.
