Rangers will be busy continuing their transfer plans this summer, and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited by what manager Steven Gerrard has in store for the future with the club.
The former Liverpool star has been making his impact on the club quickly in terms of recruitment, and is believed to be ready to up the ante in the coming weeks as he wants to make the Old Firm side genuine title challengers.
And, according to reliable fan Twitter account Four Lads Had A Dream, who are well connected with the Gers and their transfer activity, Gerrard’s recruitment plans have gone into overdrive as his side are reportedly closing in on a permanent deal for striker Jason Cummings.
Talking to Forrest at the moment, extremely hopeful all will be ok & deal will get done
It’s ongoing at moment

The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with the Ibrox side and impressed enough for the club to consider taking him on a permanent deal, with talks ‘ongoing’ regarding a deal for the Scotland international.
Landlord’s Verdict: Many of the locals would not be surprised that the Gers are interested in making Cummings a permanent signing, considering it was made public knowledge that they had the option to do so.
The striker doesn’t appear to have a future at Nottingham Forest, and would certainly add depth to Gerrard’s side having done a decent job for the Scottish Premiership outfit in 2018.
