Rangers will still believe in their chances of enjoying a successful season, even if their deadly rivals have taken an assertive six-point lead.
Steven Gerrard remains in with a chance of making an instant impact with Rangers, because of the talented group of players he has available to him.
They have looked the part but generally, consistently has always been their biggest downfall, as it may prove to be again if Celtic win another league title this campaign.
In his first season in charge, Gerrard would now be seeing what’s good and bad about his Rangers team, with an obvious plus being Ryan Kent – who is a player the Gers should be looking to acquire on a permanent basis.
Kent, (who is valued at £1.5 million on Transfermarkt) has done well and made a good impression since joining on-loan from Liverpool.
After a failed loan spell at Bristol City last season, Kent has used that as fuel to ignite his game, taking it to the next level since arriving at Ibrox.
Whilst his goal contribution doesn’t make your jaw drop – 4 goals and 3 assists – Kent’s overall play has been massively important for Rangers because he is a persistent threat.
With a great turn of pace, eye for goal and his team-mates alike, Ryan Kent may get even better if he extended his stay in Scotland.
Manager Steven Gerrard has been praising the Englishman for his performances on the pitch, which could leave Ryan Kent in with a good chance of earning a permanent deal, something that would be a lot better for his progression seeing as he could play every game.
