Alfredo Morelos is certainly a figure who divides Rangers fans. Indeed, ‘El Buffalo’ has a strong 24 goals in just 56 games for the Light Blues, though his time in Scotland has been littered by high profile misses, as well as the frequent red card.
Clearly, he’s a striker capable of finishing gilt-edge chances, though the 22-year-old is just as likely to absolutely sky a sitter it seems. That kind of form continued when he featured for the Colombian national side over the international break, with the Light Blues ace completely messing up a tap-in before setting up a goal himself.
Despite his mixed time of things with La Tricolour, Morelos did receive quite the backing from Radamel Falcao. The Monaco star – who was widely regarded as one of the best natural finishers in the game prior to his extensive injury problems – is a national legend and predicted his countryman would star for the South Americans in the years to come.
As a result, we asked our Rangers supporting readers whether or not they agreed with Falcao. Morelos does divide opinion, so we thought it interesting to gauge the feelings of the Ibrox faithful after such a star-studded message of support.
Interestingly, as you see in the results of our poll, the support for him is pretty unanimous. A huge 83% of polled fans think El Tigre is right in his assessment of the Ibrox man.
Start finishing his chances and perhaps the 17% of naysayers will dissipate quickly.
