The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are already excited for next season under Pedro Caixinha as they attempt to close the gap on bitter rivals Celtic.
Indeed, the Light Blues in the bar are hopeful the Gers’ proactive work in the transfer market will lead to better things next season and reports from the Daily Record have only added to the sense of excitement.
They claim a deal for Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans could be pushed over the line within the next 48 hours. Caixinha is understood to be hopeful of sealing a £1.3m deal for the 30-year-old, as he applies the finishing touches to his rebuild at Ibrox.
Dorrans would represent quite the coup for the Glasgow giants, having played at a high level south of the border for the last few years and the resident Rangers supporters are absolutely delighted about his potential arrival.
Having lacked attacking imagination over the course of last season, the punters propping up our bar can’t wait to see Dorrans strut his stuff in Scotland.
