Rangers fans were discussing former player Ally McCoist’s strike against their Old Firm rivals, which took place over 34 years ago.
His goal came during a bonkers encounter at Ibrox, where Gers drew 4-4 with their arch-rivals despite going 2-0 and 3-1 down in the game. The Gers then went 4-3 ahead, only to concede an equaliser to their foes. McCoist scored a brilliant solo goal as he picked up the ball midway through the opposition half before beating two men and slotting into the bottom left-hand corner (via Rangers).

He enjoyed a quite sensational career with the Light Blues as he scored 355 goals across all competitions, making him the club’s all-time leading goalscorer (via Gersnet).
