Rangers: Fans happy after news site dismisses claims over Ianis Hagi’s future - Rangers

Many Rangers fans were feeling happy after a news site delivered an update on Ianis Hagi’s future at the club.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi (via Daily Record), the £4.5m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, Romania international would prefer to leave the Glasgow outfit this summer amid growing interest from Lazio. The Italian publication went on to claim that the 21-year-0ld wants to perform at a higher level than the Scottish Premiership.

However, a Gers news site named Four Lads Had a Dream has claimed that the story surrounding Hagi is ‘nonsense’ and also went on to say the player and his agent have told officials at Ibrox he wants to remain with Steven Gerrard’s side. His claims match up with Glasgow Times reporter Chris Jack’s report that the Turkish-born attacker wants to stay in Scotland.

Supporters were happy as they got an update on the future of the attacker and many took to Twitter to react. Here are some tweets, where one fan called it a ‘miracle’:
