Rangers fans were lashing out at Sky Sports commentator Andy Walker following last Sunday’s win over Ross County due to his actions on the coverage of the fixture.
During the game against the Staggies, Walker made a number of comments about both the club and Alfredo Morelos. He made reference to the fact the Colombian walked past the bench without shaking hands, seemingly forgetting that the SPFL and Scottish FA asked figures not to do handshakes due to Coronavirus (via BBC).
One fan called him a ‘bitter wee man’.
Anyone listening to him can surely hear how bias he is, dig a Goldson, Kent, Hagi and Morelos a few times. Ross County players were all round near solid, excellent at times!? Bitter wee man

He also did his best to ‘fat-shame’ the 23-year-old and took aim at goalscorer Ryan Kent during his commentary of the game (Sky Sports via Rangers News). Despite the former Celtic striker’s comments, Steven Gerrard’s side have struggled in recent weeks and have won just two of their last five across all competitions, as per WhoScored. Fans weren’t happy with the pundit as they took to Twitter to lash out at him for his verdict on a variety of things. Here are some tweets:
Andy Walker: no handshakes for Morelos from any of the coaching staff there.
Worst commentator in Scottish football history. pic.twitter.com/84dABGwkB2

The guy used yesterday’s stint as an opportunity to criticise everything Rangers for the full 90 minutes. It was so pointed that at times I could only laugh tbh

Genuinely don’t think there’s a worse co-commentator in football than Andy Walker. Gives zero insight

I want a bag of cans and Andy Walker sacked by Sky and not replaced by another slabbering Yahoo.
