Rangers: Fans laud on-loan Greg Docherty after fine full debut for Hibernian - Rangers

A number of Rangers fans took to Twitter to congratulate on-loan midfielder Greg Docherty following a stellar performance from him at the weekend.

Docherty, who has making his first start for Jack Ross’ side after one previous substitute appearance, rounded off the scoring against the Lowland League outfit in the closing minutes after he had earlier provided two assists for team-mate Marc McNulty, who helped himself to a hat-trick. The midfielder went on loan to Easter Road on transfer deadline day last month, with Florian Kamberi moving in the opposite direction, after struggling for game-time at Ibrox. His five appearances for Rangers this season all came in the Europa League qualifiers and Betfred Cup, with the most recent of those in August (as per TransferMarkt), and he has featured just 19 times in total for the Light Blues’ first team.

After his fruitful exploits in the Scottish Cup on Sunday, these Rangers fans on Twitter showered the 23-year-old with praise, with many hoping that he will establish himself at Ibrox upon returning from his current loan:
