It’s been far from a vintage year for the Rangers fans so often drowning their sorrows in the Transfer Tavern, though many of the local Light Blues are already focusing on next term.
The Gers are expecting a major rebuild under Pedro Caixinha this summer as they attempt to close the gap on bitter rivals Celtic. Naturally, as a result, the Ibrox giants have been linked with all sorts of players from around the continent.
Still, potential recruits already based in Scotland could be the key into improving the ranks in Glasgow. Indeed, Motherwell forward Louis Moult has recently been touted as a potential target atop the marble staircase following his prolific form this season.
Despite the struggles of the Steelmen on the whole, Moult has notched 17 goals this term and, while speaking to the Scottish Sun, refused to rule out the idea of moving on from Fir Park in the summer.
With Motherwell battling against relegation into the Scottish Championship, Moult was particularly coy on his future.
”I’m trying not to think about my future on a personal note”, said the 24-year-old.
”I’m just trying to help the football club get safe and then we’ll see what happens from there. It’s not about individuals.”
