Rangers fans on Twitter beg for wonderkid to start Scottish Cup amid Warburton’s slump

As of late, the Rangers fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern haven’t exactly been delighted about the nature of performances under manager Mark Warburton, with many believing he should soon be on his way out of the club.

The Gers crowded around one side of the bar have found themselves drowning their sorrows more often than not recently and sitting 27 points behind bitter rivals Celtic simply isn’t good enough for the Ibrox faithful. So, with that in mind, it’s clear the Rangers fans in our venue desperately need some cheering up.

There’s not much of an easier way to cheer any football fan up than talking about promising youngster emerging through the ranks to cure the ills of the first-team. 15-year-old Billy Gilmour seemingly attracted a lot of interest from Premier League clubs last month it seems and the talented teen has been training with Warburton’s first-team.

So, with spirits low on the blue side of Glasgow right now, it seems supporters on social media have been praying on social media for his inclusion against Morton in the Scottish Cup this weekend.
