Rangers fans on Twitter really weren’t pleased with James Tavernier’s Europa League performance

While a draw with Spartak Moscow isn’t a bad result per say, the glorious manner in which Rangers’ Europa League campaign has gone under Steven Gerrard’s management makes the fact they didn’t pick up any home points slightly disappointing.
Clearly, that shows how far the Light Blues have come under the former England captain’s watch. However, as slightly frustrating as last night’s result was, the performance of one of Rangers’ most experienced players took that very feeling to a new level.
Club captain James Tavernier invoked the ire of the Ibrox faithful with a rather pitiful performance on the right-hand side of defence. Usually a reliable outlet in attack, 26-year-old struggled to deliver from his wide berth and his nightmarish performance this close to Halloween certainly caused quite a fright online.
Berated by the Rangers faithful, here’s a look at some of the reaction.
Think that’s got to be Tavernier’s worst performance in a Rangers top

Could somebody please tell me why tavernier is responsible for all freekicks and corners ? Not even one good cross inside the penalty area .

Ejaria, Kent and Flanagan have been excellent
Tavernier, Coulibaly and Goldson have been awful.
