Many Rangers fans have praised defender Filip Helander after playing a full 90 minutes for his country on Monday night.
The 26-year-old played a full match in Sweden’s 3-0 victory over the Faroe Islands, helping his country round off their Euro 2020 campaign with a clean sheet.

Despite becoming a more and more important player as the season has gone on, he is not first choice for Sweden, so it perhaps came as a bit of a surprise to see him start the match. Usually, Andreas Granqvist and Victor Lindelof are the preferred choices, but with Sweden confirming their place before Monday’s game, Helander and Pontus Jansson were given the responsibility of guarding Sweden’s net.
He managed to repay the faith of the manager Janne Andersson as not only did he keep a clean sheet, but he also grabbed an assist.
