Rangers ended 2019 in fantastic form, closing the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Will Rangers stop 10 in a row?
Four consecutive wins, including a hard-fought 2-1 victory over their rivals Celtic, reduced their deficit to just two points in the race for the title.
Manager Steven Gerrard has also guided the club to the knockout stages of the Europa League, as well as reaching the final of the Betfred Cup.
They’re not in action again until January 17, facing a Scottish Cup clash with Stranraer before facing off with St Mirren and Hearts in January.
However, striking while the iron is hot it seems, Gerrard has used the time off to take his squad away to Dubai, aiming to prepare his squad for the second half of the season.
Part of those plans involves a friendly with Uzbekistani Super League champions Lokomotiv Tashkent at Sevens Stadium, as was announced on the club’s offical Twitter feed.
